Saturday the 8th

Happy Friday Riders!

Tomorrow we'll be hosting 2 rides. Justin will take the advanced riders up Deer Creek to City View and across to High Grade. Come prepared for climbing!

Jenn will take the recreational/intermediate riders out to REI and back. This is a relatively flat and fast ride along the Platte, around 33 miles.

As usual, we'll meet at 9am and ride at 9:30am. It's looking to be HOT tomorrow, so bring lots of fluids and snacks to keep you hydrated, especially for that advanced ride. For those going to REI, we'll be able to relax and refuel there.

Hope to see you in the morning!

Saturday, May 18th

Tomorrow we'll be hosting an intermediate ride out to Chatfield and around. This ride is about 35 miles at a decent pace, and involves riding up Santa Fe (it's a REALLY W-I-D-E shoulder, so don't worry!). Bring lots of fluids, snacks, a spare tube, and we'll see you at 9am to ride out at 9:30am.

For you ladies - did you know Bicycle Village has a ladies' group? They ride Wednesdays and some Sundays. Join the Meet-up group for information: http://www.meetup.com/BVWomenCyclists/

Hope to see you tomorrow!

May 11th ride

Happy Friday riders!

Tomorrow we'll be hosting one ride - an intermediate ride. Jenn and Dan will take you all out to Golden via the Platte to 26th west to 32nd, and into town. We'll head back to the shop going south to Belleview and home. This is around 47 miles.

The weather is sketchy for tomorrow. Come prepared to get wet in case some cloud decides to rain on us for a few minutes! Bring lots of fluids and any snacks you need, or stock up at the shop before we leave, along with a spare tube and sunscreen. We'll have a short pit stop in Golden before heading back to the shop to refill our bottles.

See you all at 9am!

Rides for Saturday March 30th

Tomorrow we'll be hosting two rides. Justin and Brad will take the advanced riders up Deer Creek to Parmalee Gulch, down Bear Creek Canyon, through Bear Creek Park, and back to the store.
Me and Will will take the intermediate riders out to REI and back.

As always, we'll meet at 9am and ride at 9:30am. Bring a spare tube, fluids and any snacks you like, and dress in layers. The weather report varies from station to station - some say rain tomorrow, some say in the afternoon. Saturday the 12th

Hello Group Riders,
The weather for this weekend is looking grim at best - a high of 19!!! We all want to get some time in the saddle, so we'll be hosting indoor cycling this week instead of cancelling the ride. Please arrive by 9:15am to get set up on the trainer, and class will kick off at 9:30am. This will allow us to get a good workout in before we engage in the football festivities of the day (Go Broncos!).
Also keep in mind that we host indoor cycling every Tuesday evening at 5:45pm. Take advantage of these classes to help you maintain your endurance throughout the winter.
See you Saturday!

Saturday November 17th

Tomorrow we'll be hosting one route - a 32ish mile ride out Belleview, around 470 trail, up Ken Caryl and down Deer Creek and around. This ride has some climbs in it. We'll go at an intermediate/advanced pace and will split into a fast group and a moderate speed group. The weather is supposed to be nice, but it will be cold when we start, so dress in layers. Don't forget fluids, snacks, and a spare tube, and we'll see you at 9am.

And don't forget, indoor cycling has started! Join us on Tuesday evenings at 5:45pm - bring your bike, a towel, and plenty of fluids. Cost is $6/class or $30 for a punch card of 6 classes. Hope you can join us.
